We all think we know best, but are we really awake yet? Things are moving forward, just not at a fast enough pace for what year it is, and with such ignorance and bigotry still prevalent in our system, in our politicians, in our everyday people, in our everyday lives, we still have so far to go. But will we ever get there? You are not the "silent majority" if you only surround yourself with people who think like you and are unwilling to hear a different perspective.

There is a void growing within me. With each year another piece of my heart is lost, yet I somehow keep moving forward for it seems like there is nowhere to go back to. Be it in my mind, place, or past. Yet at the same time I am complete with you. I have found my other half. I have found my strength. I have found something to live for. I have found someone to live for beyond me.

Not simultaneously. This is the natural functioning of the human brain, It's the way children's brains perform before they are wrecked by the school system. It's the way the minds of all great scientists and artists work, but once you have a belief system everything that comes in either gets ignored if it doesn't fit the belief system or it gets distorted enough so that it can fit into the belief system.
